02What Telegram can do

Telegram can be more than a chat

The same chat turns into a service step by step: buttons, sign-in, a Mini App, CRM data, payments and AI. Scroll — the side panel shows which systems get connected.

  7. AI
  1. 01 / Telegram

    It starts with a message

Customers message the bot the way they message people. No app to install, no sign-up.

  2. 02 / Bot API

    Buttons instead of commands

Menus, inline buttons and quick replies. Users don’t remember commands — they pick an action.

  3. 03 / Auth

Customer recognised — no login, no password

The Telegram ID and a confirmed phone number link the chat to the customer in your system. The bot sees order history and permissions.

  4. 04 / Mini App

Mini App — a full interface inside Telegram

Catalogue, cart, account. Opens with one button; user data arrives signed (initData) and is verified on the server.

  5. 05 / CRM

CRM data, right in the reply

Bonuses, statuses, personal offers. The bot works with live CRM data, not a copy in a spreadsheet.

  6. 06 / Payments

    Payment without leaving the chat

An invoice in the chat, confirmation via the payment provider’s webhook, receipt and fulfilment — automatic, with a status re-check.

  7. 07 / AI

    AI understands free text

Request classification, catalogue and knowledge-base search. AI works inside a predictable bot flow — with limits and logs.

From a simple bot to a complete digital service inside Telegram.

03What we automate

A bot is an interface. The value is in the logic and integrations behind it.

A typical bot answers buttons. A bot that works for the business checks data in the CRM, takes payments, creates requests and hands work to people — with logs, retries and access control.

05Mini Apps

A Mini App is an app nobody has to install

When buttons and dialogue are not enough — catalogue, account, forms, a map — a full web interface opens inside Telegram. The user is already signed in, payment runs through Telegram, and there is nothing to download.

When you need a Mini App

  • Shop and catalogue
  • Customer account
  • Dashboard
  • Booking and appointments
  • Loyalty programme
  • Service apps
  • Complex forms
  • Maps and locations

What makes a Mini App production-grade

initData · HMAC
User data is signed by Telegram; the signature is verified on the server, not in the browser.
MainButton · BackButton
Native Telegram buttons instead of home-made navigation — familiar and consistent on every device.
themeParams
The interface follows the user’s light or dark Telegram theme.
startapp · deep links
A link opens the exact screen: a specific product, order or offer.

06What to choose

Bot, Mini App or AI agent?

The right architecture is cheaper and more reliable than the “smartest” one. Pick a task and see how each option handles it.

Pick a task

Best choice for this task: Bot

Bot

Best choice

/statusOrder APIReply

One request, one reply with buttons. Fast, cheap to maintain, answers in seconds.

Good fit for

  • Short dialogue and commands
  • Notifications and reminders
  • Requests and approvals
  • Menus and a clear workflow

Command → Scenario → Action

Mini App

Overkill

Open appOrders screenStatus

A whole screen for one line of information.

Good fit for

  • Rich UI: catalogue, cart, checkout
  • Dashboard and customer account
  • Many fields, maps, date pickers

Button → Web UI → API

AI agent

Overkill

UnderstandCall Order APICompose

No need for an LLM when the answer is deterministic: costlier and less predictable.

Good fit for

  • Free text instead of buttons
  • Analysing context and documents
  • Picks its own tools and steps
  • Multi-step tasks with human review

Goal → Context → Plan → Tools → Check → Approval

08Integrations

The bot works with your systems, not next to them

A bot’s value is in the data and actions behind it. Pick a system to see an example of how an event flows through it.

Example flow

CRM

Leads and requests land in the CRM at once; the manager sees the conversation history.

  1. Telegram
  2. Telegram lead
  3. Create contact
  4. Assign manager

09Reliability

A production bot doesn’t lose messages

An amateur bot works while everything is fine. A production system is built for slow APIs, network failures and repeated webhooks. Pick a scenario — the log below shows what happens inside.

Scenario
  1. messageok
  2. webhookok
  3. queueok
  4. workerok
  5. apiok

The webhook answers Telegram immediately and the work goes to a queue. The bot never hangs, even when the CRM is slow.

Event log · Demo Scenario
  1. +0.000smessageupdate_id=7031 received
  2. +0.012swebhookPOST /webhook → 200 (ack before processing)
  3. +0.015squeueenqueue job key=tg:7031

  5. +0.162sapiPOST /crm/leads → 201
  6. +0.184sworkerdone · logged trace_id=9f2c

✓ RETRY✓ LOGGED✓ MONITORED

Under the hood

queue
Slow work runs in a queue, not in the webhook handler.
retry
Retries with exponential backoff and an attempt limit.
idempotency
A repeated event never creates a duplicate.
rate limits
We respect Telegram and third-party API limits.
audit log
Who did what through the bot, and when.
monitoring
Metrics, alerts and error tracking.
backups
Regular backups with restore checks.
10Security

Security is built into the architecture

A bot often gets access to the CRM, payments and personal data. So protection is part of the architecture from day one, not a line item at the end.

If the bot handles personal or financial data, we run a dedicated security review. Discuss requirements

secrets
Tokens and keys live in a secret store — never in code or the repository.
initData
Mini App data signatures are verified on the server.
user validation
Telegram users are matched to accounts in your system.
RBAC
Roles and permissions: staff see only what they should.
least privilege
The bot gets minimal access to external systems.
payment verification
Payments are confirmed only by a verified provider webhook.
rate limiting
Brute-force and spam protection at bot and API level.
TLS
All connections encrypted; webhooks over HTTPS only.
12How we work

How we design bots

  1. 01

    Business Flow

Not “which buttons do we need” but “what work should the bot do”.

    • Map the process and roles
    • Define what success means
  2. 02

    Bot Architecture

Bot API, backend, database, external APIs, Mini App, admin panel, payments, AI — what is actually needed.

    • Integration and data map
    • Bot, Mini App or agent
  3. 03

    Prototype

We show the dialogue flow before main development starts.

    • Clickable prototype
    • Changes before code are cheaper
  4. 04

    Development

Backend, the Telegram side, integrations and the Mini App frontend — in iterations with demos.

    • Regular demos
    • A test bot for your team
  5. 05

    Testing

We test what breaks bots in production, not just the happy path.

    • Repeated webhooks and network failures
    • Payment callbacks and permissions
    • Load and edge cases
  6. 06

    Production

Launch is the start of operations, not the end of the project.

    • Deployment, logs, monitoring
    • Backups and support

14FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does a Telegram bot cost?

The cost depends not on the number of buttons but on business logic, integrations, a Mini App, payments, the admin panel and load requirements. That is why we don’t publish a “from” price: after reviewing the task you get an estimate by stage and a clear breakdown.

How long does development take?

It depends on the kind of project. A flow prototype is the first thing you see. A simple bot is the fastest option. Each integration adds API alignment and testing work. A Mini App is a separate frontend. Complex automation is planned in stages and launched in parts. We give an exact timeline after reviewing the process, not before.

Can you connect our CRM?

Yes, if the CRM has an API or another way to integrate: webhooks, exports, database access. If there is no API, we suggest an intermediate solution and are upfront about its limits.

Can you connect payments?

Yes. The architecture depends on the provider and business requirements: Telegram Payments or an external payment API. Either way, payment is confirmed only by a verified provider webhook.

Can you add ChatGPT or another AI?

Yes. Simple AI — request classification, knowledge-base search, summaries — we build in BotZone inside a predictable flow. Autonomous AI agents that plan steps and use tools are the AgentZone line.

Need an autonomous AI agent?

AI agentsAgentZone
Can you improve an existing bot?

Yes, after a technical audit: we review the code, infrastructure and security. Then we propose a plan — improving the current solution or moving to a new architecture, with the reasons.
